A 1905 map of Perth Amboy shows a Lutheran church in this block of Broad Street. Currently the building is home to the Holy Ghost Christian Center and the Joy to the World daycare center. For a long time in between (1957 to 1990), this was the home of the Second Baptist Church, a historically Black congregation that now resides at Cathedral International downtown.
