American vernacular architecture never ceases to amaze, amuse, sometimes appall. Ive never seen anything like that in Portugal. The lack of windows, especially as there are balcony railings there, as if waiting for the windows arrival, is just... bizarre.
I'm not sure that I'd want to eat in a restaurant with no natural lighting, or where I couldnt look out of a window at the street life.
