Very beautiful pond!

Thanks very much Irina - It's a shallow litle pond behind a much larger one, but the birds love it here. Cheers!

Great shot, love all the different shades of green, and brilliant reflections. Dianne

Thanks Dianne - And right about in the middle of this is the Great Blue Heron. This is definitely one sub-pond that improves as summer progresses. In the spring all the cat-tails are just brown stubble, but it seems to get more photogenic every time I walk by it now. And it's not visible now, but a bit to the left of center is the nest of the Easy Rider family.

Lovely reflection shot Bits, including the heron! But what on earth is a Easy Rider? Other than someone sitting on a motor bike?

Hi marbiz - Thanks! By 'Easy Rider' I mean this family since the little guy preferred to ride and not swim. There are three different families in the photos, so it's just to try to be clear which one. (The reflecting swan in the Kamaly page is the male of yet another family. But even though I got some really blurry shots of their cygnet hatching, I don't have any other shots of them to post.)
