And there is much more down there to be won! Maybe will see mines being sunk again in order to have more control over fuel prices.

Great minds and all that, Keith. It's sad to see that this photo has been neglected for 5 years, except by your true friend, Mike. No doubt the whole edifice will eventually crumble to dust! Happens to us all.

It may already be gone, Amelia, as the developers are taking over the site.

I pass by Mike's house most work days on the bus and it is strange to see his beloved model sailboat and artificial poppy in the window, knowing he is no longer able to offer us a cup of tea and a "canny natter". I miss his comments too.
