arzy judging from the flat fenders, I'd say this truck is from the late teens, early 1920's. Late twenties usually had curved fenders. Have a good one.

Like others, I wonder about the story. Was it the demise of the settlement, or did something else cause them to leave? Was the truck already unusable, or did something happen that caused them to leave it behind? Did they plan on coming back for it (and never make it back)? And what's coming? Some day the truck will rust completely away. Once it's gone, will there be any memory of it?

Well, that last one is a stupid question. Of course we will have Eve's outstanding photograph!
