I have found your album very interesting as you have set out to show the place you live in, in fine detail,many things that outsiders like me would not see.It is a place i would clearly be lost in :-) You have also clearly travelled and there is much more for me to see.I felt happier leaving a note of my passing in more familiar surroundings.john

Thank you for visiting my album. I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing the photos. I mostly think of NYC as a place where people live, not as a famous place. So, I take pictures of things that interest me, whether they are well known or not. (I do like taking photos of historical landmarks but often, they are not very well-known places either.)

When I go out to take pictures, I often notice people on the street looking over at what I am photographing, probably because they can't figure out why I am taking a picture of the place. So I like to think that I sometimes give people a reason to notice the interesting things around them.

thankyou for your reply luciaM.i have learned a great deal in my short time on pano but the two things that stay in my mind are 1) upload images for yourself that you like and if somebody else likes them,all the better. 2) i have learned to appreciate where i live more because i take the time now to appreciate what it is that i see.before it was lost in the blur of life.I have a long way to go in your album yet.Best wishes from across the pond.john.
