Beautiful composition with water ..., Ian! Only a few green leaves ...!! The journey continues...! Best wishes,Simona

Hello Simona,

I loved the variety in the gorge, from the bold, powerful and majestic to the delicate, gentle and surprisingly subdued corners. This side waterdfall had a charm all its own, while most cameras would bypass it and head for the main falls, I was charmed by its gentleness.

Best wishes,

PS: On Monday, we leave to live and work in Tonga until December, so you will be coming with me on another journey.

Thank you Mira for the compliment. It is like an exploratory peep into another world.

Perhaps then you are ready to come with us into the world of the Kingdom of Tonga. Do you want me to send you your flight itinerary? How long can you stay? As this is your first visit to the Kingdom of Tonga, allow as long as possible. I can arrange for you to stop over in Brisbane for December, and you will be able to help us unpack (at last!!).

My warmest regards,

Thank you, Ian, for giving us such a beautiful impression of Bali!

Best wishes, Marilyn

It is not hard to reveal the beauty of Bali, Marilyn, or Indonesia generally. The country includes some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, but here I have been a bit more up-close this time round. Thanks for sharing your enjoyment with us.

great shot - bravo

greeting, Hubs

Ian Stehbens on January 22, 2011

Thanks Hubs. The main waterfall is about 200M further up the valley, this being just a minor side waterfall that others ignore. I was struck by its gentle beauty. Glad you like it.
