Hi Herb congratulations on your award.
I think you should feel chuffed not stuffed.
I like many others sympathise with you. I find it strange that just by qualifying, one is no longer allowed to go for a win.
If it’s any consolation I’m still waiting since November 2008 for my prize to arrive.
Join the club.
Greetings from France Ray

Ah, thanks for that Ray, for until your comment here, I did not realise that I had won a 2GB Memory stick as well. I though, I had just won the glory. I have got over my shock of not being able to enter any more Geo-tagged comps now and as you say, am right 'chuffed' at winning a 'Highly Commended'. This is certainly getting seen by many more visitors now and I hope that some will look further into my gallery too. Have looked at your 'Highly Commended' and it looks like a worthy winner too. (I see you have had over 1000 visitors to that-wow!) Thanks again mate, _Herb)

Hi Herb well done, on this award. I have only just come across the above comments and have learned a lot from them. Steve 111, raises some interesting points, and there sure is some strange rules. Any way, well done again,,and keep on posting regardless. Yours. DJ.

DJ, always nice to hear from you. Yes, there can be a lot learned from these comments. There is some debate at the moment regarding what is allowed to be linked (to another picture) in a comment. Just noticed on here that about half of all the first comments including my description of the picture has disappeared completely and it was not me who accidentally deleted them? This picture has had by far the most comments of any of my photo's, so I presume Panoramio has reached its limit and done some cutting? Anyhow, keep clicking, Herb

Since this first comment of mine has disappeared:
This picture is of a Monckton No.1, Steam Engine. Actually an Austerity Saddletank built by Hunslets of Leeds. Photographed near Skipton, Yorkshire and is part of the Embsay and Bolton Steam Railway.
Enjoy, Herb
