Greetings, JAZZ, and thank you for your happy visit today! =)

You do realize that SHE is actually a HE! Yes indeed! I imagine it may have something to do with the fact that he is so large! Plus I think that he's a bit on the lazy side too! . . . You gotta' love a duck! =)

Thank you for your kind praise. I'm delighted that you've enjoyed the shot.

It's always great hearing from you, Jazz!

Oh Mary(Alice) somehow I was under the impression I already commented on this amazing picture.

Somehow it catches my attention (even as a thumbnail). You captured her so elegantly strolling through the green field.

A bit of magic!

I cant really put my finger on what it is that makes this picture so outstanding.

So better late than never a well deserved Yellow Star for the finest Duck around!

Many ducklings to come....

Greetings, D.J. from the UK, and please overlook my delay in getting back to you. I have been out of town on vacation, and had no access to the internet. I'm still trying to catch up with my comments.

I'm delighted that this silly duck brought about a chuckle from you. Ducks always seem to make me laugh regardless of what they're doing. They're just humorous little creatures I think. Maybe they were put here on earth just TO make us laugh! =)

Thanks for stopping by, and for your happy words.

Wishing you all the best,

Drawn as I am to this dawdling Daffy Duck, I search for inspiration, for words lost in the nether regions of my mind, a defining moment in my life when nothing I can do, no effort have I spared, no stone unturned, for even now mentally exhausted, an empty nothingness leaves me feeling speechless!! What can I say MaryAlice. Words fail me!!!! Best say nothing then eh ;>)))

Jim,

Does this mean that you Like the shot or not? Your meaningless babbling left me unsure.

Regardless, I am delighted to find you here, and I see that you've changed your profile name as well. What prompted this?

Thank you for stopping over, and I wish the a wonderful weekend.

Warm regards from a very rainy Georgia,

In truth I love him MaryAlice, its a proper duck with a quack and yellow feet!!

You know how much I like to pull your leg over these endearing creatures..

The duck features large in the lives of so many happy children's tales none more so than my own, I have fond memories of believing, like all innocent children, that ducks were our special friends!!

So no more meaningless drivel MaryAlice ;>))

What prompted the change of ID you ask, simply because I can!!

AXOTA was not my god given name and for some people, it did not relate to persona behind the fascade!!

In this virtual world of characters, like actors on the stage, we project our role the way we perceive our selves to be.. For me, it is simply taking another part!!

Paul's decision came as a shock, although I can understand his reasons for going, never the less, I am saddened at his departure :<(

Warm wishes MA

Sincerely--yours ;>))

Greetings, Annica, and thank you so much for stopping over today.

This IS a sweet duck! Very sweet indeed. He was actually raised from a tiny duckling by a family nearby, and then put out on my mother's pond when he got older. He was probably an easter present and they needed to find him a home with a lake when he got this large.

He is most friendly and always happy to have his picture made. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the shot, and thank you again for your friendly visit.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead,

Mary Alice

great shot MaryAlice, ducks might not be the rarest or most spectacular birds but they most definately are one of the cutest creatures. This shot is proof.
