Drawn as I am to this dawdling Daffy Duck, I search for inspiration, for words lost in the nether regions of my mind, a defining moment in my life when nothing I can do, no effort have I spared, no stone unturned, for even now mentally exhausted, an empty nothingness leaves me feeling speechless!! This IS a sweet duck! Very sweet indeed. He was actually raised from a tiny duckling by a family nearby, and then put out on my mother's pond when he got older. He was probably an easter present and they needed to find him a home with a lake when he got this large.
He is most friendly and always happy to have his picture made. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the shot, and thank you again for your friendly visit.
great shot MaryAlice, ducks might not be the rarest or most spectacular birds but they most definately are one of the cutest creatures. This shot is proof.
