Nice Capture. This is one of the reasons I like backcountry hiking. The wildlife lets you get close enough to take their picture.
Thank you, ImpStout, but you give me too much credit. If you zoom on the map, you'll see this is just off the roadside. Old Fall River Rd. on the way to the Alpine Visitor Center. No hike. Just pull over and click.
Look closer, they are Elk not deer
Thanks for your comment, caller. Of course, I use "deer" here as the common name for any animal in the deer family (cervidae), including reindeer, moose, and elk. Of course, they don't mind what we call them, as long as it's close!
