Nicely composed, Marilyn. I hope you got a couple of days of good weather. The Old City is charming in any weather, but rain is certainly a "damper (sorry for the pun)."
Good pun, Hank, and apt.
We arrived Monday noon, and the rest of that day was sunny. Then it was cloudy with occasional light rain, clearing for a while late Thursday afternoon. It cleared again on Friday afternoon when Hugh's meeting was over and we got a rental car to take us out of the city before returning home late Friday evening. Thus I had lots of opportunity to test my skills under less than optimal conditions! Although it was much more comfortable than in the heavy snow in Feb. '08, paradoxically the snow offered photographic opportunities that were lacking on drab, damp June days!
That's a very good melancholic mood shot, Marilyn
Many thanks, pics, for the comment and the best of.
Marilyn Whiteley,hi! I also really like ...:))
Thank you, Ivanna, for your visit. Greetings, Marilyn
Beautiful composition, Marilyn. You made the best as always, with not very good conditions too. Cheers, Daniela
Many thanks, Daniela. I think my Panoramio friends--their comments and their photos--are teaching me to look for "the picture" even when conditions seem discouraging. Cheers, Marilyn
