Transported me back through time watching an old western movie. Inside the stable a blacksmith replacing a horse shoe. They still do it same way huh. Interesting subject and a good shot, regards.

Thanks for your kind comment. I don't think there is any other way to do it except the old fashioned way! They have moved with the times though, in London at least, it seems they move round as a crew in a big white van to where they're needed. I came across this scene purely by accident.

I have a feeling that this is now general, and that being a farrier is now a mobile trade, like being a plumber or electrician. There aren't enough horses around compared with 100 years ago to make it worthwhile to sit in one place and wait for the clients to walk to you.
