Wonderful back light that brings a splendid bright halo to the different elements of the picture. Perfect composition and excellent distortion correction. Y* at first sight and voted best of! Cheers, wx

Thanks again guys - you too, Lui

HDR and a bit of d&b to the rescue on this one! You know, it's getting harder to get up of my stomach from shots like this. My bones are getting older.

Talking of bones, on my blog there's the first full telling of the story of the caving dig I was on where we came up underneath this cemetery. Freaky!

I really like this shot! the only thing is that tree and half gravestone on the left, they are a bit distracting and might be better off if they were cropped out. just a thought.

highton-ridley, on August 6, said:

Hi Vinz, thanks for your suggestion. If you slide the window to the left to see what that cropping looks like, you'll should note a couple of things.

First, the image looks unbalanced, too 'heavy' on the rhs. Secondly, it gives the eye a route to 'escape' out of the picture.

With the edge of the gravestone and the tree included, whan the eye moves left, it gets swept up and back into the picture again.

At least, it does for me, lol!

Thanks again for the suggestion. Anyone disagree with me?
