It is a lovely place, well represented here

You have made a lovely scene of it

A place I held so dear

when exhibiting paintings of the building and locale

as once I did in days gone by

the fees were easy, sales none at all, so my wallet remained dry!

A smashing shot, Keith, I particularly like the long shadows playing with the chain-saw sculpture and picnic tale, so well set off against the Castle walls. Very well done- Have a GOLD STAR

Many thanks for the gold star, mate. I suffered for MY art though and still itching.

AVON Skin so Soft

Rub it on all over, repeat twice a day while in enemy terroitory!

No midges will bother you, but it makes you smell a bit lady-like, so divvun gaan doon the Bigg Market!

Nice framing with the tree trunks and foreground shadows. And the subtle colours in the stonework are lovely! Marilyn

Thanks again Marilyn. This castle was actually built as a hunting lodge for the Duke of Northumberland a couple of hundred years ago, but it makes a good subject for a photograph..
