It is a beautiful place to live David, and even though it can often be cool, it suits me as I am a Scot by birth. But believe you me, as a one time red-head, I have to be so careful in this sunshine even at 16C :))

Greetings from Norway, Amelia

Well Ian, they can all stay in St.Ives, Newquay and Mallorca, for I am quite happy to find the beaches like this. The temperature has risen considerably since the summer solstice, and has now reached the heady heights of the winter solstice temperature in Tonga. The Norwegians will be flocking here if it stays like this for the weekend :)

What is the winter weather like in Sydney Ian?

Amelia in Norway, and just about to apply factor 30 suncream to go in to Stavanger and buy a new lens cap :))

Hi Amelia, There is nothing wrong with Newquay, St Ives or Mallorca if they take the hordes away from beautiful places like this allowing us to enjoy the peace and tranquility and amazing scenery. :-)) Another y*, Geoff
