This is one of my TOP favorite little creatures in God's kingdom, and you have captured her beautifully. What a special treat. She is so fresh and new, just breaking out into the wonderful grand world. I know her mother must have been close by, but I love how you managed to capture her alone looking so very small but a tiny bit independent already! The little dab of water dripping off of her beak adds so much to the moment, as well as the ripples in the water behind her on her journey across the pond. It is a brilliant, delicate and wonderful shot of this darling little mallard baby.
