Great composition, Marilyn! Have you a macro lense? Regards, Rob

Many thanks, Laci, Eva, and Rob.

I use an Olympus compact ultra zoom which has two close-up modes. I like it because I can carry it with me all the time and it gives great flexibility, but I am sometimes disappointed by the quality of the close-ups and especially of the extreme zooms. This time, however, I was pleased. (I'm looking with longing at the new Olympus EP-1, but it wouldn't offer the flexibility with the lenses currently available.)

Greetings, Marilyn

This close-up of the leaves of a lupine is really excellent, Marilyn! The water droplets are just perfect and I like the magnifying effect of the biggest one. Very good job! Greetings, Anne

That's so beautiful!!!

Hey there, Marilyn; about being disappointed with the sharpness, see if you've got a variable flash on your camera. If you have, try using it at a low power setting. The auto settings should close your aperture a bit (as well as speeding up your shot) and give you a more sharpness.

And about this shot, this is lurvely! The bubble in the middle is gorgeous. So delicate and nicely offset by the other two drops.

Many thanks, jenper, Bart, Anne, SonnyFunny, whoelius, and Paul. I'm glad you were intrigued as I was.

And thanks, whoelius for the suggestion.

Greetings, Marilyn
