You've done it again! You've set a new standard for extraordinary vistas, combined with great scale. The whole new set is great. Congratulations.

Thanks for your comments, Hank. I am only sorry that I had to shoot these with a borowed cheap compact that really wasn't up to the task. I took a few with a better camera, and hope to post them soon.

Snemann, it is hard to believe you take such amazing shots with a "borrowed, cheap compact". It is a true demonstration that expensive equipment doesn't necessarily mean great photos. It's the eye of the photographer that really counts. Beautiful shot. FYI, I have flagged many of your new set as favorites or "best of".

Thanks Eve,I am glad you like it, you are most kind. The eye -is- important, sure, but the full size picture here is all blurry, and with strange colours. Quite frustrating.

Snemann, I did look at this picture in full-size (I always do with photos I especially like). I noticed while it was not particularly sharp, it didn't seem really blurry. I assumed it was probably because you understandably uploaded a low resolution. I still think it is a very fine photo!
