Lovely view of these beautiful buildings, Marilyn.
They have a European touch, don't they? Cheers, Anne

Thank you, Anne and Jenper. It's a beautiful building (with a European touch), and there are so many ways to photograph it! Greetings, Marilyn
WOW! What a beautiful romantic castle.
Marilyn Whiteley, Stupenda propsettiva. Complimenti.
Un carissimo saluto. Ciao,Vinicio.
Thank you, Janina and Vinicio. The Canadian Pacific Railway built a series of grand hotels, and this one has become a famous landmark in Quebec City.
My first visit to Quebec was back in 1967 when I graduated college. A friend and I drove up to see Expo in Montreal, and proceeded north to Quebec. My first view of Le Chateau Frontenac was from the Old City, and I never forgot it. you've done well by it here, Marilyn. Thanks for the memory.
Greetings Marilyn, What an old memory. We arrived on our motorcycle in an autumn rain and stayed in an Inn within the city walls. The Chateau was beautiful. We rode about the city in a carriage pulled by draft horse named Abbie, so of course, in true Beatle tradition we saw all of Abbie's roads. What a fun time. Thanks for the memories.
Hank and Rich, I am glad to have brought back such happy memories! I hesitated to post "yet another" picture of the much-photographed Chateau. Yet, familiar as those green-and-white-roofed belvederes are, they're seldom photographed from underneath, so I couldn't resist.
Hi Marilyn, nice shot, and believe it or not I went to Quebec City for my wedding trip, and we had a room at the Chateau Frontenac, and our room was on the top floor in the middle arch that you can see on this photo where the top little window is. The romm was small but what a view we had. We only needed the bed anyway...Cheers...GHISLAIN.
I'm glad this brought back memories!
