Una de las maravillas de la naturaleza en la costa oriental asturiana son los bufones. La costa caliza tiene numerosos sumideros por los que se cuela a presión el agua impulsada por las olas. Estos sumideros se comunican con la superficie y, en días de fuerte oleaje, se producen columnas de agua vaporizada como ésta, y con un sonido impresionante.

One of the marvels of the nature on the oriental Asturian coast they are the buffoons. The limy coast takes numerous sinks as those that the water, stimulated by the waves, slips past to pressure. These sinks communicate with the surface and, in days of strong surge, there are produced columns of water vaporized as this one, and with an impressive sound.
