These are great pictures. We were passing by the statues when we spotted them. We stopped and took pictures from a distance. They do not show up well in my black and white photo. I was in the 7th Signal Co at Camp Casey, 1954 & 1955. I have 35 Korea photos posted on Google Earth. Some around Casey and above Casey beyond the Bayonet Bowl at a Comm site, also at hill 754 northwest of Casey. Was the 24th stationed at Casey as Well? Things look a lot different there now.

Thanks. In 1955, the 24th Med Bn was at Pobwon-ni, where military routes 71 and 80 cross at site 30. A military map link to a great site (http://rickinbham.tripod.com/KoreaMap.htm) will show you the various unit locations. A click on any map segment isolates and enlarge it. Scroll down it to a list of the various units stationed at each numbered camp from 1958 on . The 24th Div was taken out of Korea by 1958 and replaced by the 1st Cav Div. where the keys show 1st Cav units, substitute 24th. The regiments of the 24th were right on the DMZ and the support units (QM, Engrs, Med Bn) a few miles below it. I'll upload some more photos to show how it was then.
