The Chickens Come Home to Roost

With a beautiful fluffed up feather coat, this chicken looks so proud to be gaurding the big red door and the windsor back chair, the textures in the coop are phenomenal, the door glass ripples like water, the whole scene tells us it is a working porch, place to sit and chew the fat, drink the Jack, and plan tomorrows chores

Glad you enjoyed this photo. The house is not mine but I have enjoyed looking at the unusual decoration on the front porch - perhaps a family keepsake - it is not mine so I do not know. Have been planning to photograph it for a while.

Hope things are going well for you. I hope to come visiting by the weekend when I am thru with the weeks work.
