Ohh I really love this one, avel-breizh I will put it in my favourites gallery! You have captured this horse on a unique angle, he looks extremely gentle and noble...
Amitiés, Jacqui

Gentle and noble, you are right Jacqui. The big horses don't need to be aggressives.
When i was very young (many many years ago...) my grand parents had a horse like this for the hard work of the farm. I was very impressed, i was so small and the horse was so big!
Thanks Jacqui, for your visit, your kind comments and naturally my Postier Breton in your favourites. See you soon on your nice gallery.
Best regards. Eddie

Lovely to see these gentle giants again appear in my gallery comments, avel-breizh - I'm not surprised they left strong impressions on you, as a child - For me, as a child, I wished so much I had been born generations earlier...when my great-grandparents also used horses on the farm; I used to 'collect' giant horse shoes that I'd found abandoned in our fields, from the draft horses of generations earlier..... so fascinating, the iron, massive size, rust and history in those shoes. I sometimes wonder where that collection ended up when our family left the farm, some of those old horse shoes must have been over 100 years old...... so much more soul than tractor tyres and machinery

Hi dear Jacqui, nice to meet you again on “Pano”. How are you on the other side of the earth ? And your « a tentative return » seems like a Mysterious and disturbing image. Amitié sincères... Eddie.
