waves at Bits Nice one, Bits. Very apropos.
A very interesting photo, curtains and all. Dianne
I certainly hope you took a cab home!
Thanks not1word - this is just an apperitif! I've got a few others in mind :) you might be able to find this sign in this shot kamaly posted.
Thanks Dianne ! The blue glow sure does turn the curtains into something else. (I cropped out the diners in the window.)
And lol, Guy, have no fears. I read your caution in the NPC announcement and strictly kept my distance. But what had started out as a quick stroll to the harbor after I left work before sunset turned into a four hour tour! So I sure could have used a taxi to get back to where I started.
This really is quite mezmerizing, Bits. You really got the perfect exposure on it, too.
Great neon! I was trying to find it on kamaly's but couldn't at first.
Thanks again not1word -that's sure a compliment coming from the Master of Neon! And believe it or not, I was walking around that evening with aperture priority setting on, and letting the camera pick the exposure / shutter speed. Just about all of the shots were right on and not too blown out. I have no idea why, but it worked.
Thanks marbiz! - they're just little blue blobs in the distance on the other shot - no detail to the sign at a ll.
Nice neon Bits those curtains do give it an unusual look .....and Bits and not1word the blue reminded me I do actually have a blue neon too hee hee H
Inspector - you seem to have mistaken someone else's page for your own! But thanks for the link - cool highlighting on the building. ( Though I have a feeling its more likely LED lighting instead of neon. Sadly, I think the days of N1W's favorite light source are numbered...
oops... LED, how silly is that Clancy then thinking he had managed a nice sharp blue neon. No wonder there are no neon flares then ... H
Mama don't take my neon away!
Yeah do me at about 3m perfect. my fav colour as well a very good shot. steve
