There are two marvelous historic structures in the center of this amazing photograph. On the left is the 1843 Stone Arch Bridge (National Register and National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark) and to the right is a stone mill (1849) once home to the Ausable Horse Nail Company.
Yes - admire the photo but why not think of living there or operating a business in this wonderful building and location. Brewery, restaurant - you dream it! It's owned by Adirondack Architectural Heritage and we're in the process of developing plans for its restoration and adaptive reuse and would love to have YOU along as a partner.
