Wow Wim - nice cliffs, sheer, unforgiving but with interesting "steps" in them! Can you tell us anything more about the cliffs, where they can be found (above a river maybe), approx. how high, etc? Just curious!
Fijn weekend, Wim
Hi Hazel of course I can. This is the 'old' part of the quarry. The 'steps' you refering at are actually the marks of the stone carved out of the Sandstone rocks. They are about eight to ten meters high, so not so high as in the new part of the quarry.
One of the main objectives of my visit to Menorca Mimi. Its a very interesting place indeed. I always like man-shaped landscapes. And here are the marks of our ancestors. And they didn't have all the mechanical tools they have nowadays.
And there are lots of other photo's there too. Mini. Because of the high walls my GPS wasn't working very well. So sometimes I had to correct the postion a little bit from out of my memory. But in general it sure is the place were I was.

Groeten, Wim
