Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts is located in the original building of the Las Vegas High School. It was built in 1930 and is a fine example of Art Deco design.
The school is now a magnet for visual arts, performing arts, and foreign languages. Prominent alumns include the R&B artist Ne-Yo, whose mother moved the family from Arkansas to Las Vegas, which obviously worked out well for her son.
As you may tell from the curved street, this image is a panorama composed from three separate shots.
There is another photo on Panoramio that shows this building with its former white colors.
