Kashagawigamog! It's fun just to say out loud. Wait til Norrel comes across this one. He'll forget he ever heard dagnabbit. It's a pretty impressive storm and photo, too! I like how you included that thin slice of grass and chairs at the bottom.

Thank you, omshakti, N1W and Christian. It was a beautiful few moments, just as we were finishing dinner. Fortunately the dining room window was clean. If I had taken time to hunt a vantage point outside, the sunshine would have been gone!
N1W, I'm glad you tried out the name. I included it hoping somebody would enjoy it.
Christian, we spent three nights at this resort, and showers alternated with periods of sunshine throughout our stay. Since we were with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, our spirits were not dampened!

You did fine from where you were. Great capture of the sweeping rain on the water and the lighting is great. Those empty chairs add a wonderful element to the photo.
All my best, Larry

thank you, toninaji, İsmail, and Larry.
When I have the good fortune to capture something like this, I am tempted to wonder about how much I miss! But I guess I should simply be grateful for the opportunities I do have.
Best wishes, Marilyn

Dagnabbit! Lake Kashagawigamog! It's an unusual picture of a lake with a very unusual name, Marilyn. It looks like it's raining gold.

Norrel, after I took the picture, I should have gone out onto the front lawn and checked!

I didn't fancy saying it first so I showed it to the missus to say it first. Then I didn't feel so bad about saying it!
