Cool Beth, he looks pretty determined to get somewhere.

Thanks Guy. Or determined to get away!

Beth, even if they don't manage to have sometimes the perfect result, is sufficient, and I am sure that you know, the photographic memory of our eyes! I send you my assessment!

Thank you, Eva! I always appreciate your wise comments.

Thanks, Dick - it's amazing how swift and silent they can be.

The effect here of movement is so powerful and the noble look on the owl's face is excellent - as is your gallery. Regards, Heath

Thank you, Heath. I have a special fondness for owls for some reason. I just took a look at your gallery - you've got a great eye! I look forward to spending some time browsing.

Greetings Klaus

Thanks you, Chris, Bruce, and Klaus. Bruce, often when I see them flying it's either too far off or I'm already right on top of them without seeing them until suddenly I'm left with my mouth hanging open watching them sail by and off to distant trees. Beth

Very good capture...

Truly a marvellous catch, Beth. We have these birds here but I've never been this close, even though they actually live in my back yard. Mostly I just see the pellets they spit up, they seem to make a game of trying to hit the lid of the compost bin.

very nice flight photo!

Wow, this is stellar! Very tough to catch a shot like this, as they are so sneaky-quiet! Best of!
