Lieber May, thank you so much for adding this one to your favourites! This is indeed a very idyllic spot. We were here off-season and we only met some locals and 3 french tourists! In summer it can be really busy. The weather wasn't very nice, but it was very calm and peaceful with abundantly blossoming gardens and what's most important, without cars and other motorized traffic! This situation, with the canals, gives the spot a special tranquility that made me think of (certain parts of) Venice.
