My mother lived in this house from 1919 until she married. It used to have the Lord's Prayer and the 92nd psalm written around the windows.

Its a lovley house. It was built in 1877 with profits from gun powder money supposedly from the local church. In the early 1900s Paynes poppets bought beddington park to farm his cows for his famous milk chocolate. one of his relatives lived in this house whom he had working for him.The white render has picture designs printed on it and most of the original lead windows have been broken when the house was left derelict for quite a time. The park is now home to flocks of parakeets which you can hear whilst sitting in the garden,it also has a lovely view of the dovecote, crew manor house and st marys church, which has beautiful carvings and artwork inside.
