One of the Best Photos in Panoramio. Lights and shadows give a particular transparency to this Composition. Surrealistic atmosphere is evident. I look your collection to end, Congratulations.
Thank you Gilberto and Lizette for your very kind words. Much appreciated.
Waooooo! Fantastic colours!
Graet technique! Bravo!
Lukas your infrared pictures are really GREAT; the details get strange and beautiful colours!
Are your IR photos on film? This one is spectacular. I agree completely with gilberto silvestri.
All pictures are digital, taken with NIKON D70 (self - IR altered)
Thank you all for your wonderful comments!
Thanks, Lukas. Guess I'll be at my local dealer's tomorrow buying a couple of IR filters. Most of my recent posts are a few years old, shot with a little Nikon Coolpix 990. For the last year and a half I've been shooting with a Fujifilm S3 Pro, but not the IR version. Unfortunately, Fujifilm's S3 ProIR has replaced the IR blocker behind the mirror with a piece of clear glass, and that makes it a dedicated IR camera. What filter are you using?
Absolutelly amazing work! How did I miss this one?
Chip, I was using Hoya R72 filter but now I do have my camera altered. I replaced the hot mirror with a glass too. This glass is not clear though but it has an IR characteristics. The results are the same, however. The only advantage is that I can now get faster shutter speeds.
Nice one Lukas, this is really spooky. I love it!
Great use of color and nicely composed!
Beautiful picture, Lukas. ¡Saludos!
Just one word: Perfect!
Congratulations! Your pictures are beautiful; I would like to buy an IR filter as well. Any suggestion for my Canon 400D? I have a 50mm 1.4 and a 70-300 IS.
Spectacular, other worldly!
Umbeleivable!!! Congratulations. I saw it in the prefered shots of Lacitot, who is a reference in Panoramio... you get another yellow star for this one.
