What a beautiful path to walk along! I love the colours in this photo. Was it taken in winter? Cheers, Anne

Hi Ann

This section of the Canal is quite a contrast from the previous 2km, which is heavily industrial.

You are right the photo was taken in January of 2006, and sometimes the winter sun makes a lovely light to walk in, and of course makes a good photo.

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Pedro

It's a great stretch of canal - I cycle it often in winter, between Rugeley and Tuppenhurst, just near Hanch Hall to the East of Armitage & Handsacre.

Can I respectfully point out that you've mapped this phot on the River Trent, and not the canal?

Best wishes

Bob

Thanks Bob

Can’t blame that misplacement on being in the Swan with two Necks!

Regards, Peter
