The Robins we used to have in the UK are small chubby birds whose redbreast is somewhere on every Christmas Card. The Canadian Robin is an entirely different kind of bird. It arrives in Spring and seem to do nothing but to strut around presumably looking for a mate.
It is a good job that the UK Robin never made the trip to Canada. There is no doubt that the Canadian Robin would have kicked the crap out of them.
