Probably just as well it has the shutters down. Fancy any food from next to a pet centre?

This is nice !

As a Chinese ex-pat I would say that at least the food will be fresh Kenny. Somewhere out there is a much less salubrious " Something fried chicken". I just cannot remember who has it!

I am horrified by the number of scooters in evidence on my recent trip to the UK. What do you say?

All the best from here (wherever that is)!!

scooters You're right to be horrified. Not only did this chap do a suicidal dash across the road he had an overloaded basket. I wonder where he bought that almost life sized statue of a rotund man!

Brilliant I hadn't noticed the plastic model of a geezer standing one-legged, in his basket Kenny.

'mazing' what you can do in Photocrop.

Oddly enough when I took this shot I didn't even see the scooter!

Hi Kenny and Jethro

The chap on the scooter seems to be looking straight at the camera.

The Something Fried Chicken gets all over the place and it reminded me of Sue Allen’s picture from down under, click and enlarge and you can see what I meen.

And Jethro, are you saying that there are more scooters than in the era of the Mods and Rockers?!

All the Best to you both Peter

HA! Peter

All those oldies on scooters ARE the Mods from the 60s . They have just traded in their Vespas for an Invacarriage!!!!

Too right Des, there is nothing of value in the shops any more but the shutters are good scrap value!!!!
