£1.85 a pint for John Smiths. Is this a recent photo? I just noticed on my jaunt round England that pub advertising is getting quite aggressive. I especially like The Combo British style (curry and a pint; £7.99 etc)

This deserves a pubs tag Kenny

Yes it is recent - uploaded the day I took the photograph. I was stuck in traffic and took the shot for the architecture. I think I have cocked up with Photoshop as the building looks wider at the top, or perhaps it is the leaning drainpipe? Good idea about the pubs tag.

Yes there is a swaying feeling as you reel towards the special offer pint and the4 converging verticals. (Actually I hadn't noticed it until you mentioned it).

I use Shift-N which is a brilliant and free program to sort all those vertical and horizontal issues out automagically. I got the link from someone else on Panoramio and swear by it ever since.

Enjoy !
