Probably the most impressive station in Japan. The roof is 15 stories high with a public skywalk along the top. You could spend the better part of a day exploring the structure and its surrounding maze of stores, restaurants, and performance areas.

FYI: As of now, Osaka and Tokyo stations are under re-construction. So, these stations will be very impressive more than ever.

Hopefully, there are no plans to tear down the beautiful brick building in Tokyo! I do recall walking past big construction there.

Hello Steve. You're right! Actually, JR East company is now doing restoration of Marunouchi station building (the brick building) to the original 3 floor design.
