To celebrate the end of 23 yrs of getting up at 04.30hrs (working for the Post office, not waterworks problems), I decided to do the Peddars way by bike on July 3rd 2009.It was 50 miles from Knettishall to Holme next the sea but it felt a lot more as I was using a brand new 'Brookes' leather saddle and hadn't been on a bike for some time.
The views here as the sun was starting to set were worth every one of those painful miles across rutted fields and overgrown footpaths.
