Hey, sorry, but I didn't realize your name is also David until now, so maybe I could address you that way from now on? Anyhow, lovely, colourful birds you have photographed there! Do you know what family or species of birds Pink and Grey Galah's are related to? What kind of trees are they sitting in there? As I live in Canada, I've never seen trees or birds quite like that, well done!
Hello DavidOf course you can call me David.I have the answer to your questions concerning these Galah's.The name of the type tree the Pink & Greys Galah's are sitting is Tuette Tree. I hope this is helpful to you.My Kind Regards,*David in the south of Western Australia
Well, those Tuette trees add wonderful colour, shading and tangled curve patterns to the photography, David! It's wonderful to hear about the flora and fauna in Australia!
Hi David, those trees were close to a farm house and shed etc and the reason why these birds hang around her is because there is always loose grain spilt all over the place. Here is something you might find interesting.Always many different things down here, even our trees are so different to where you live, where as they don't loose there leaves during wintertime for instance. Best Regards,David in the south of Western Australia
Hi David. With the spilled grain, that place must regularly be an excellent spot for bird watching! Of course, those trees are exceptionally different from the ones here in Canada. All of our trees across Canada lose their leaves in the winter in this northern land. Even in Victoria, British Columbia on the Pacific, which gets the mildest winters in Canada, has all the trees lose their leaves (and Victoria, BC is so sheltered from the cold that it's the only Canadian place where stunted palm trees will grow!). We also have a very interesting tree here called the tamarack. It is a coniferous, needle bearing tree, but unlike other conifers, it loses its leaves in the fall like deciduous leaf bearing trees and has bear branches come wintertime. Well, I really enjoyed learning about the trees in your neck the woods as well, David.
Hi David. Good that you like all I told and showed you. Hope to talk more another time, but not well at the moment, got another infection in my leg again and at the moment I am not responding very well to some very strong anti-otics.I will see what happens tomorrow as to what will happen next.See you latter.David
I'm very sorry to hear about your infected leg, David. I also enjoyed seeing your wonderful photography and talking with you about Australia and your photography. I really wish you the best of luck in getting well and hope everything works out for you.
Hi David.I carted off to hospital today, but was aloud to go home later.Because of the infection in my body it drained me of all energy and become exhaust with even just talking.I was told I need total rest so my body can heal itself. At least the infection in my leg is starting to get better now..I will know more by Friday as that will be the last of the course of tablets. Thanks for your care.Best Regards,David.
My husband is David, so you're really confusing me ;D So sorry you aren't very well, Ozzie David, I hope it isn't H1N1 and that you get well soon! Theolfa
