Thanks for the comment. Yes, we love it here. When the sun shines on us (which is certainly not always the case) this area is as scenic as pretty much anyplace on Earth. There thousands of little harbors and bays like this in Washington and British Columbia. I'm not surprised you were in one like it. Looking at the map, the location of this photo looks to be about 70 miles south of your Point Roberts photo. I've never been to Point Roberts, but we studied it in High School due to its unique geographical situation, being a small point of land, only accessible through Canada (or by boat) yet part of the U.S.
Greetings from the Pacific Northwest ... Bryan

Nice area, Bryan I'll have to try it sometime. I've been to Point Roberts and it is a neat little area - popular for its launch for sport-fishing boats.

You know, I've lived here my whole life and never been to Point Roberts. I remember studying it in high school because of it's geographic quirkiness.
This little spot is typical of so many similar little bays and inlets in the protected waters of Puget Sound and around Vancouver Island and the Channel Islands. It's a great place to have a boat big enough to travel a bit on. I haven't been able to convince my wife we need one, though.
Cheers, Bryan

It would be a bit of a drive for you to be sure. A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into, they say. I don't think it's that bad. I'd love to take mine down to the Gulf Islands for a month of cruising, but that will be in the future some time...
