Do cows drink salt water? Is this sufficient for them? Or they recomanse the absence of salt by this way? And we give them stone salt? Olga

Hi Amelia. Thanks for your return visit to my "seaside cows", and thanks for directing me to your 'proof' of a cow eating seaweed. Sorry to hear that your cows abused you and your mobile phone! Cheers - Jim

Good morning to you all, and many apologies for not replying sooner.

There is a herd of cows that graze on this peninsula in Rogaland, and they are often to be seen, especially in the summer, in the sea. I was so intent on getting this photo, that a few of the cows playfully nudged me, and caused me to lose my mobile phone into the sea - it never worked again :))

Warm wishes for a Joyous Christmas, Amelia

Great image of a sea cow dear Amelia!

And I'm happily surprised to see that it was accepted by GE also! They seem to be so arbitrarily selective nowadays.

Best wishes, Timo
