Probably the most dramatic place on the 400+ mile long Natchez Trace Parkway is this bridge near Franklin, Tennessee. Unlike the mountainous Blue Ridge Parkway--the other, comparably long National Park Service administered non-commercial roadway--the Natchez Trace covers mostly gently rolling countryside as it makes its way from Nashville to Natchez. It is nonetheless a delightfully historic, relaxing and subtly scenic drive.
