Mira - thank you so much for your kind comments. You always make me feel so happy! We were lucky with the weather in Ireland, and hardly had any rain. And of course, it was green, green, green!! This is a beautiful road from Clifden, with views around every bend above the sea and into the mountain area.

Warm wishes, Hazel

Beautiful wide angle here Hazel, lovely scenery, and so green. Norway has been cloudy for the last 5 days, and we have UK visitors unfortunately - for them that is! Today it us pouring with rain!!

Cheers, Amelia

Thanks Amelia - glad you like this view outside Clifden. It was a lovely bright sunny day when we were there and we were so lucky. (Apparently your weather is not being quite so co-operative!)

Nice to chat to you. Enjoy your visitors and I'm holding thumbs for better weather for you.

Cheers, Hazel

What a beautiful sight, one that I'm sure I'll probably never get to see! We just don't have places like this around here. It is magnificent!

What a gorgeous day you picked to photograph such a view as well. It couldn't have been more perfect.

It is grand, and thank you so much for sharing it.

Best regards from the USA,

Mary Alice

P.S. I know that this may be very stupid to ask, but are you allowed to explore such a place, or is it private property? I would simply want to comb it over from head to toe.

Hi there Mary alice - thank you so much for your visit and your lovely comments - so glad you are enjoying this view.

To answer your question: We simply drove along the Sky Road above this old ruined "castle" but I am sure that you would be allowed to explore this place as there was a road leading to it, further back. We were just visitors so sadly had no time to explore in any detail, as we were en route to Connemara National Park, further north. If we ever return to Ireland I would love to explore this area in greater detail because, as you say, it is magnificent!!

Warm greetings from South Africa - Hazel

What a beautiful view at the castle, which is looking so tiny in the middle of all the green! Very good composition Hazel, and the colours are great!!

Friendly greetings, Ria
