The "Piggy Steps" leading down from Military Hill (North Military Road) to a junction:

Turn left for Clarendon Place (I used to live at 81 Clarendon Place).

Turn right for Clarendon Road (with "The Malvern Inn" pub on the near corner).

Go straight across for Malvern Road which leads down to Folkestone Road. For some reason, Malvern Road is marked as "Birch Wood Rise" in Google Earth.

When I was at St Mary's Primary School in Queen Street, I once fell over at the bottom of the Piggy Steps (I fell to the right) into the biggest bed of stinging-nettles you've ever seen!

The large building at the bottom of the distant greenery with two red 'blobs' in front of it used to be Westmount College, scene of a 2007 fire.

The large white building at the top left is Dover Grammar School for Boys (DGSB) which I used to go to.
