A lovely photograph. As a child I played around Teddington Lock. That was before the walking bridge was erected, way back in the 1950's. Richmond, Ham, and Petersham are beautiful places, and the river Thames was our playground. We often took the 'rowed' ferry across the river to Teddington outdoor swimming pool. Your photograph brought back fond memories.

Thank you for your kind comments. I don't know if you are still in the area, but the Ham ferry is still running - now a motor boat of course.
