Hi Larry, Nice shot, Your NIKON D300 was a good investment for this kind of shot at ISO 640, it does not show much grains, but it is very hard to tell at this very low resolution....TOO BAD. This is one camera that I will get very soon, Just waiting for the price to go down. **BOP for sure.

I take the photos at the high resolutions and the D300 does a very good job. However, I do greatly reduce the resolution for uploads to Panoramio to help cut down on upload times and for other reasons. I try to use a tripod when I can in low light so I can use a smaller ISO, but there are times when I must hand hold the camera in situations such as this.
