thanks, errece, for your comment. the nails are holding a safety net to prevent rocks falling on the street. there is really not much space between the rock and the river: the city is really squeezed between a rock & and a 'wet' place ;-) ... however, there is still a street between the house and the rock: see the side view and the church (which is still somehow behind this house. cheers from belgium, christian
