Although the dominant tree in many forests in southern Ontario is maple, this example of forest is more mixed with a variety of species than some. I chose an overcast day to shoot this because it reduces extremes in contrast, which photoreceptors can't handle, that are found in forest photography on sunny days. indyj@rogers.com
