hi eve your recent photos of the birds are lovely. i recently took my young niece and nephew to a local farm and we had a lovely time .i got some good pics which are similar to yours i uploaded a few. love the colour of the water here.

steandeb, thank you for the comments. I was happy to have a picture of this duck, because I love the blue bill. The water looked very green only from a certain angle. Since it was taken in a slough near the Bighole River, it was a little stagnant.

Eve, such wonderful bird photos! This is my favorite. I've always loved watching Ruddy ducks in the spring. We don't have them up here - but we do have Trumpeter swans, wish I could get such a great picture of them...
