Hi Ian. I just posted a couple of autumn shots of here. Hope it brings back memories ;-)
Beautiful shot, Ian.
An Iolar, i will visit your gallery right now:)
I loved your Ireland, An Iolar!! And I love your photos of it - the autumn ones including the one of this lock are particularly special photographs among your fine work.
And I loved your Ireland, Inessa. I am sure you know that by now. I remember some months ago , meeting Swissmay on a wee coastal track in the west of Ireland, in Panoramio. I told her how much I would like to go walking with her, our cameras in hand, along such a beautiful track. And since than she has been back, uploading more images for us all.
For those who have been to Ireland, we are greener than those who haven't, whenever we hear of someone planning to go.
Tomorrow should be fine, here. At last, our city is very green.
Thank you Ian, every land is beautiful when you love it.
Dear Inessa and An Iolar, again!
In order to give some cohesion to our exploring of Ireland, we decided when we left the Wicklows and Dublin to wander down the valley of the River Barrow. We started at the Grand Canal and the National Country Fair and headed southward, meandering as we went. I found my way to this lock, and walked my camera around its environs. Then after leaving, we found ourselves on a main road heading south, which gave us this panoramic view of the place we had explored an hour before.
What a moment for standing in awe, and to record with the camera!!
I have no idea why this image has come up in the front of my gallery's correspondence just now 6months on. But it gives me opportunity to greet both Gerry and Inessa again.
Warmest regards form Sydney to you both over there in that green paradise.
